ELIGIBILITY AND RULES

1.   The Proposal for Funding and the Letter of Intent ("the Proposal") must be submitted from an organization of nonprofit status in their country of operation ("the Contestant").

2.   The Proposal must have resulted in a grant awarded to the Contestant. The grant must have been awarded and received by the Contestant within the last two years. The minimum grant size must be $4,000.

3.   More than one Proposal may be submitted per Contestant.

4.   If the Contestant wishes the identity of the funder to remain anonymous, the Contestant must black out the funder's name on the submitted Proposal.

5.   The deadline for submission is 12:00 (noon) PST, November 1, 2012.

6.   The Proposal must be submitted electronically in MS Word or PDF format; FAXES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

7.   The Contestant understands and agrees that the Organizer reserves the right to make all final and binding decisions with respect to all aspects of the Contest, and the Contestant agrees to be bound by all decisions of the Organizer.

8.   The Contestant authorizes the Organizer to reproduce the Proposal on the Organizer's website.

9.   The Contestant authorizes the Organizer to identify the successful Contestant and the Proposal's author (name/picture) in connection with organizing or promoting the Contest.

10.   The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant if it is determined that the Contestant has submitted false information, committed fraud, and/or plagiarism.

By submitting a proposal to the 2012 World Proposal Championships, the Contestant agrees to be bound by the Rules of the Contest as designed and published by the Organizer, Metasoft Systems Inc. The Organizer reserves the right to update the Rules of the Contest at any time.
